As a Senior Turner in our company, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various turning machines to produce high-quality metal components. Your role will involve working with a team of skilled turners and using your expertise to ensure the efficient production of parts according to specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate turning machines to perform different machining operations such as drilling, boring, and threading
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality standards are met
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine specifications for the finished product
- Inspect finished parts for defects and make necessary repairs or adjustments
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and regulations
- Train and supervise junior turners to improve their skills and efficiency

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Turner, with at least 5 years in a senior role
- Strong technical knowledge of turning machines, tools, and materials used in metalworking industry
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues that may arise during production
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods of time while operating machinery
- Good communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment

Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional certification or training in metalworking or machining is preferred.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per month for this position. Salary may vary based on experience and qualifications.

Location:
This position is located in Lisbon, Portugal. We welcome candidates from all nationalities who are willing to relocate.
