Entry-Level Turner


We are seeking a motivated and skilled Entry-Level Turner to join our team in Lisbon. As an Entry-Level Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery to shape and fabricate metal parts according to specifications. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for metalworking and a desire to learn and grow in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate machines such as lathes, grinders, and drills to cut, shape, and smooth metal parts
- Read blueprints or technical drawings to understand project specifications
- Use precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy of finished products
- Maintain equipment by lubricating, cleaning, and making minor repairs as needed
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe work environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in metalworking or machining preferred but not required
- Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring tools
- Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and repair
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods of time

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1700 per month.

Contract Type:
This is a full-time contract job.

Visa Sponsorship:
Candidates must have their own visa in order to work in Lisbon.

Freshers Welcome:
We welcome applications from freshers who are eager to learn and have a passion for metalworking. Training will be provided on the job.
