Junior Civil Engineer


We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Civil Engineer to join our team in Lisbon. As a Junior Civil Engineer, you will work closely with senior engineers and project managers to assist in the design, planning, and execution of various construction projects. Your main responsibilities will include conducting site visits and surveys, preparing project plans and reports, and analyzing data to ensure compliance with safety regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with limited experience to gain hands-on experience in the field of civil engineering.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits and surveys to assess project feasibility
- Assist in the design and planning of construction projects
- Prepare project plans, reports, and drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Collaborate with senior engineers to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications
- Analyze data and perform calculations for structural integrity
- Attend meetings with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to discuss project progress and updates
- Monitor budget constraints and make recommendations for cost-effective solutions
- Ensure timely completion of projects within budget constraints

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Strong knowledge of construction principles, materials, methods, and tools
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or MicroStation
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to travel for site visits as needed
- Basic understanding of safety regulations

Salary: 1700$ per month

Location: Lisbon (no accommodation provided)
