Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, and cranes. You will work in the construction industry, specifically in the city of Lisbon. A biometric passport is required for this position.

Your main duties will include operating heavy equipment according to project specifications and safety standards, performing regular maintenance and repairs on machinery, and conducting pre-shift inspections to ensure equipment is in proper working order. You will also be responsible for transporting materials, loading and unloading trucks, and assisting with general labor tasks as needed.

To be successful in this role, you must have at least 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment and possess a valid heavy equipment operator's license. You must also have strong knowledge of equipment maintenance procedures and be able to read blueprints and project plans. Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions are also essential for this position.

As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. You must also have good problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions while on the job. Attention to detail is crucial in this role to ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
