Commercial Architect


A Commercial Architect is responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of various commercial buildings such as office spaces, retail stores, and hotels. They work closely with clients to understand their needs and create functional and aesthetically pleasing designs.

Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to discuss their requirements and goals for the project
- Create detailed drawings and blueprints using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Research building codes, regulations, and zoning laws to ensure compliance
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to develop a comprehensive plan for the project
- Oversee the construction process to ensure that it adheres to the design plans
- Make necessary adjustments or modifications to the design based on client feedback or site conditions
- Monitor project progress and budget to ensure timely completion within budget constraints
- Conduct site visits to assess construction progress and address any issues that may arise

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in commercial architecture
- Proficient in CAD software and other design tools
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and zoning laws
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, engineers, contractors, etc.
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to travel for site visits as needed
- Biometric passport (with at least 6 months validity) for international travel

Location:
This position is based in Lisbon but may require occasional travel within Portugal or abroad.

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1000 per month. Salary may vary depending on experience level.
