Contract Accountant - Lisbon


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Accountant to join our team in Lisbon. As a Contract Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial transactions of our company and ensuring compliance with all accounting regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for our company
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and provide reports as needed
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices and payments
- Monitor cash flow and make recommendations for improving financial efficiency
- Prepare budget reports and assist with financial forecasting
- Ensure compliance with all accounting regulations and laws
- Participate in the development of company policies related to financial management

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Accountant, preferably in a contract or freelance capacity
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and accuracy is a must
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with Portuguese accounting laws is preferred but not required

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1600 per month.

Location:
This job is located in Lisbon, Portugal.

Contract Type:
This is a contract job with the possibility of extension.

Experience Required:
A minimum of 3 years' experience as an Accountant is required for this position.
