Seasonal Restaurant Manager
As a Seasonal Restaurant Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our restaurant in Lisbon. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality service, managing staff, and maintaining a positive working environment. This is a temporary position with the opportunity for extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure smooth operation of the restaurant during peak season
- Manage and train seasonal staff to provide excellent customer service
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain food and beverage quality standards
- Create schedules and assign tasks to maintain efficient workflow
- Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues in a professional manner
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the restaurant
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role preferred
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team effectively
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle difficult situations calmly
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and health codes
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English (Portuguese language skills are a plus)
- Must be legally authorized to work in Lisbon (visa sponsorship available)
