Entry-level Librarian in Lisbon, Portugal



We are excited to offer an opportunity for an entry-level Librarian in our library located in Lisbon, Portugal. As a librarian, you will play a vital role in providing access to information and resources for our community. This is a full-time position with a starting salary of $1700 per month.

Your main responsibility will be to assist patrons with their research needs and help them locate materials within the library. You will also be responsible for organizing and shelving books, managing the library's collection, and maintaining accurate records of borrowed materials. Additionally, you will be expected to provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries and providing recommendations on available resources.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about books and knowledge and has a strong attention to detail. While prior experience is not required, candidates who have completed a library science degree or have previous experience working in a library setting will be preferred. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates looking to gain practical experience in the field of librarianship.

As this is an entry-level position, we are open to candidates from all nationalities. We also offer free visa sponsorship and airfare for international candidates. However, you must have a valid work permit or be eligible to obtain one before starting your employment.
