As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing dessert menus, as well as managing inventory and ordering supplies. You will also be in charge of training and supervising other pastry staff members, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong knowledge of pastry techniques and flavor profiles. A degree or certificate in culinary arts or pastry is preferred but not required. Attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities:
- Develop creative dessert menus that align with our restaurant's concept
- Prepare high-quality desserts with attention to detail and presentation
- Train new pastry staff members on techniques, recipes, and standards
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained and used properly
- Monitor food cost to maintain budget goals
- Uphold sanitation standards at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, flavors, ingredients, and plating methods
- Ability to manage time effectively while working on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to effectively train staff members
- High attention to detail with an eye for aesthetics
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Degree or certificate in culinary arts or pastry (preferred)
- Knowledge of Portuguese cuisine (preferred)
