Surveyor Assistant



We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Surveyor Assistant in Lisbon, Portugal. As a Surveyor Assistant, you will work alongside our experienced surveyors to assist with the collection and analysis of data for various land surveying projects.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with setting up and operating survey equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and levels
- Perform basic measurements and calculations to support surveying activities
- Collect data using various methods including GPS, laser scanning, and traditional field measurements
- Help maintain accurate records of survey data and ensure quality control of collected information
- Support the preparation of reports, maps, and drawings based on collected data
- Follow all safety protocols on job sites to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required (pursuing a degree in surveying or related field preferred)
- Knowledge of basic surveying principles and techniques is an asset
- Proficiency in using survey equipment and software is preferred but not required (training will be provided)
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform calculations accurately
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Salary:
This is a contract job with a salary of 1700$ per month.
