Junior Merchandiser


As a Junior Merchandiser, you will be responsible for assisting with the planning and execution of product assortment, pricing, and promotions for our company in Lisbon. You will work closely with the merchandising team to ensure that our products are strategically placed and marketed to maximize sales. This is an entry-level position, making it an ideal opportunity for someone without prior experience in merchandising.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with the development and implementation of merchandise plans based on market trends, customer demand, and sales goals.
- Work closely with the buying team to coordinate product assortments, pricing, and promotions.
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking or markdowns.
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure proper placement and display of products.
- Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and make recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop effective promotions and campaigns.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitors' strategies.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of retail software is a plus.
