Gardener for Private Estate in Lisbon, Portugal


We are hiring a skilled and experienced Gardener to maintain and enhance the beautiful gardens of a private estate in Lisbon, Portugal. As the Gardener, you will be responsible for all aspects of garden care including planting, pruning, watering, fertilizing, and pest control. You will also be expected to design and implement new landscaping projects to enhance the overall aesthetic of the estate.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a professional Gardener
- Extensive knowledge of plants, flowers, trees, and shrubs commonly found in Portugal
- Proven experience in garden design and maintenance
- Ability to operate and maintain various gardening equipment
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail and passion for creating beautiful landscapes
- Strong communication skills with ability to take direction from estate owners

Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing new landscaping projects according to estate owner's preferences
- Maintaining existing gardens by planting, pruning, watering, fertilizing, and controlling pests as needed
- Ensuring all gardening equipment is properly maintained and in working order
- Collaborating with other staff members to ensure seamless integration of gardening tasks with overall property maintenance plan
- Keeping accurate records of gardening activities including plant inventory and maintenance schedules
