Hotel Sales Manager
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our team in Lisbon. As the Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue and increase occupancy rates in our hotel. You will work closely with the hotel's marketing team to identify target markets and develop effective promotional campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales plans and strategies to achieve revenue goals
- Identify new business opportunities and actively pursue them
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other potential partners
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competition, and potential gaps in the market
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns that promote the hotel's services
- Monitor sales performance against targets and adjust strategies as needed
- Prepare regular reports on sales activities, revenue, and market trends for management review
- Train and mentor sales staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to effectively promote the hotel
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in hotel sales management or a similar role
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer behavior in the hospitality industry
- Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to drive revenue growth
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a luxury hotel environment is highly desirable
- Knowledge of Portuguese language is a plus
Salary: 1000$ per month
