Sales Manager - Hotel Industry

As a Sales Manager in the hotel industry, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue for our hotel in Lisbon. Your main duties will include developing and implementing sales strategies, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, and maintaining relationships with existing clients. You must have previous experience in a sales role within the hotel industry, as well as strong communication and negotiation skills. This is a full-time position that requires a high level of motivation, organization, and attention to detail. Candidates must have their own visa or be eligible to work in Lisbon. This is an urgent job opening that offers a competitive salary of $1500 per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet revenue targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other methods
- Maintain relationships with existing clients through regular communication and excellent customer service
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of the competition
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and operations, to ensure seamless customer experience
- Prepare proposals, contracts, and presentations for potential clients
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and other events to promote the hotel's services
- Track sales performance data and provide reports to upper management
- Train and supervise junior sales staff members

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a sales role within the hotel industry
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
- Knowledge of market trends and competitor activities
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
