Concierge at a Luxury Hotel in Lisbon


We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Concierge to join our luxury hotel in Lisbon. As a Concierge, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, making their stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. This is a contract position with a salary of $1400 per month, with the option to renew upon mutual agreement.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes, handling any special requests or concerns
- Provide recommendations on local attractions, restaurants, and events based on guests' preferences
- Coordinate transportation for guests, including airport transfers and rental cars
- Make reservations for guests at restaurants, shows, and other activities
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and requests
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Stay up-to-date on current events and attractions in the Lisbon area

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred
- Prior experience as a concierge or in a customer-facing role preferred
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English; additional languages such as Portuguese or Spanish are a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
- Proactive attitude with the ability to anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service
- Familiarity with local attractions, restaurants, and events in Lisbon preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must have legal authorization to work in Portugal
