IT Manager

As an IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall information technology operations and systems of our company in Funchal. You will manage a team of IT professionals and work closely with other departments to ensure the smooth functioning of all technology-related processes.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of all information technology systems, including hardware, software, and networks
- Develop and manage IT policies and procedures to ensure data security and compliance
- Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for improvements to current systems
- Lead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and support as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to identify their technology needs and provide solutions
- Manage budgets for IT projects and ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in an IT management role
- Proven experience managing a team
- Strong understanding of information security principles
- Excellent project management skills
- Familiarity with a variety of software, hardware, and network systems
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical colleagues
