Part-Time Network and Systems Administrator

As a Part-Time Network and Systems Administrator in Funchal, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting our company's network and computer systems. This is a part-time position, ideal for someone looking for flexible hours or a second job.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems
- Perform regular backups of data and ensure data security
- Provide technical support to employees for network and computer related issues
- Update systems with the latest patches and upgrades as needed
- Maintain inventory of all hardware and software equipment
- Collaborate with IT team to plan for future system upgrades

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software problems efficiently
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Preferred qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Knowledge of cloud computing services such as AWS or Azure
Salary: $1400 per month (based on 20 hours per week)
Location: Funchal (work from office)
