Job Title: Part-Time Back-End Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Part-Time Back-End Developer to join our dynamic team in Funchal. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying the back-end of our web applications. Your primary focus will be developing and maintaining server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating front-end elements into the application.

Responsibilities:
- Design, code, and modify the back-end of our web applications
- Develop and maintain server-side logic for optimal performance
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements into the application
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner
- Ensure scalability and security of the back-end infrastructure
- Optimize database queries for efficient data retrieval
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in back-end development

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby on Rails
- Experience with server-side frameworks such as Node.js or Django
- Knowledge of databases such as MySQL or MongoDB
- Familiarity with front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
