DevOps Developer


We are hiring a skilled and experienced DevOps Developer to join our growing team in Funchal. In this role, you will be responsible for the development, deployment, and maintenance of our company's software systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and efficient operation of our applications.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement automation processes for software deployment
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure code quality and efficient release cycles
- Manage cloud infrastructure and ensure scalability and reliability
- Create and maintain technical documentation for processes and procedures
- Continuously improve system operations through automation and process optimization

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a DevOps role
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python or Bash
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols

Preferred:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab
- Familiarity with agile methodologies
- Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus or ELK stack

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary package of $1100 per month.

Location:
This is a contract job based in Funchal, Portugal. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract.
