Job Title: Part-Time Machine Learning Engineer


We are hiring a part-time Machine Learning Engineer to join our team in Funchal. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing machine learning algorithms and models to solve real-world problems. This is a part-time position with flexible hours, perfect for those looking to gain experience or supplement their current work schedule.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and models
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and identify opportunities for applying machine learning
- Train, test, and validate models using various datasets
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing models
- Communicate results and findings to both technical and non-technical team members

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
- 1+ years of experience in machine learning engineering or a related field
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python or R
- Experience working with machine learning libraries/frameworks (TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch)
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and statistics
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Fluent in English
- Available to work part-time with flexible hours

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with deep learning techniques (CNNs, RNNs)
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI)
- Proven track record of successfully implementing machine learning projects
Salary: $1100 per month (based on 20 hours per week)
