QA Engineer

We are hiring a detail-oriented and experienced QA Engineer to join our team in Funchal. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for testing and ensuring the quality of our software products before they are released to the market. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1200$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Identify, record, and track bugs and issues
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of issues
- Conduct manual and automated testing on web and mobile applications
- Continuously improve testing processes and procedures
- Communicate testing status and results to stakeholders

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a QA Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience with manual testing and automated testing tools (e.g. Selenium)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development process
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred:
- ISTQB or other relevant certifications
- Experience with performance/load testing
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g. Postman)
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Java, Python)
