Junior Developer (Funchal, Portugal)


We are seeking a talented Junior Developer to join our growing team in Funchal, Portugal. As a Junior Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications, under the guidance of senior developers.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team to design, develop and implement new software features
- Write clean and efficient code following best practices
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing software
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and consistency of code
- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in software development

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a developer or in a similar role
- Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g. Java, C++, Python)
- Knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript is a plus
- Experience with Agile methodologies is preferred
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Salary: 1700$ per month

Location: Funchal, Portugal

Contract Type: Full-time

With accommodation provided for candidates outside of Funchal.
