Entry Level Software Developer

We are a growing software development company located in Funchal, seeking an entry level software developer to join our team. This is a full-time position with a starting salary of 1500$. We welcome applications from students and individuals without prior experience in the field.

As an entry level software developer, you will be responsible for assisting our senior developers in coding, testing, and debugging software applications. You will also have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills through hands-on experience and mentorship from experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior developers to design, code, test, and debug software applications
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and efficiency
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by users
- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
- Support the maintenance and optimization of existing software systems

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or currently pursuing)
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
- Familiarity with database management systems (e.g. SQL)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior internship or project experience in software development
- Experience with agile methodologies
- Knowledge of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

Location:
This position is based in Funchal, but remote work options may also be available.
