Android Developer

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our dynamic team in Funchal. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of Java and Android SDK, as well as experience with third-party libraries and APIs. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform. You will work closely with our design and product teams to ensure the best user experience for our customers. Accommodation can be provided for the right candidate.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Android development
- Proficient in Java and Android SDK
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs such as Retrofit, OkHttp, Firebase, etc.
- Strong understanding of mobile application architecture and design patterns
- Ability to write clean, modular and maintainable code
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Team player with excellent communication skills

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Continuously improve application performance, stability and user experience
- Ensure code quality through unit testing and code reviews
- Troubleshoot issues reported by users and provide timely solutions

Salary: 1600$ per month

Location: Funchal (accommodation provided)
