Project Manager


A reputable construction company in Funchal is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in project management and a proven track record of successfully completing projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and coordinate construction projects from start to finish
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure work is being carried out according to plans
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
- Manage project budgets and make adjustments as needed
- Oversee procurement of materials and equipment needed for the project
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols
- Communicate regularly with clients regarding project updates and progress
- Address any issues or delays that may arise during the course of the project

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and regulations
- Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6

We offer a competitive salary package of 1300$ per month, along with accommodation for non-local candidates. This is a contract position with the possibility of extension based on performance. Candidates must have their own visa or be eligible to work in Funchal.
