Data Mining Analyst


We are currently hiring a Data Mining Analyst to join our team in Funchal. As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns and trends that can be used to make informed business decisions. This is an entry-level position, making it an ideal opportunity for freshers looking to gain experience in the field.

Responsibilities:
- Collect and clean large sets of data from various sources
- Use statistical methods and tools to analyze data and identify patterns and trends
- Collaborate with other team members to develop business insights based on data analysis
- Create reports and visualizations to present findings to stakeholders
- Continuously monitor and improve data quality and accuracy
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in data mining techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R
- Familiarity with data mining tools (e.g. Tableau, SAS)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings in a clear and concise manner
- Attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques is a plus

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1800 per month.

Location:
This position is based in Funchal. Candidates who do not require accommodation will be given preference.
