Data Mining Analyst

We are in need of a skilled Data Mining Analyst to join our team in Funchal on a part-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large sets of data to identify patterns and trends that can be used to inform business decisions. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in data mining and possess strong analytical skills. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for data analysis and problem-solving.

Responsibilities:
- Collect and organize large sets of data from various sources
- Use data mining tools and techniques to analyze data and identify patterns
- Develop algorithms and models to extract useful insights from the data
- Communicate findings to team members and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
- Collaborate with other analysts to develop strategies for improving data collection methods
- Continuously monitor data quality and make recommendations for improvement

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in data mining or a similar role
- Proficient in SQL, Python, or other programming languages commonly used in data analysis
- Familiarity with statistical analysis tools such as R or SAS
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings effectively
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently

Salary: $1100 per month (part-time)

Location: Funchal, Portugal (no accommodation provided)
