Part Time Database Administrator

We are in search of a skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Part Time Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing our company's databases and ensuring their security, reliability, and performance.

Responsibilities:
- Install and configure database software
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues
- Backup and restore databases as needed
- Develop and implement data security measures
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure smooth integration of databases with other systems
- Manage user access and permissions for databases
- Identify areas for database optimization and implement solutions
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in database technology

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role
- Knowledge of database design, management, and administration principles
- Familiarity with SQL language and database scripting
- Experience in data backup, recovery, security, and performance tuning
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team

Location:
Funchal, Portugal (Remote work is not available)

Salary:
This is a part-time position with a salary of 1200$ per month.
