Contract Moderator (Funchal, Portugal)



As a Contract Moderator, you will be responsible for monitoring and moderating online content to ensure a safe and positive user experience. Your role will involve reviewing user-generated content, enforcing community guidelines, and responding to user inquiries or complaints.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and moderate user-generated content on various online platforms
- Enforce community guidelines and flag inappropriate content
- Respond to user inquiries or complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Identify and escalate potential issues or trends to the appropriate team members
- Collaborate with other moderators to maintain consistency in moderation practices
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in online moderation

Requirements:
- No prior experience required, but a strong interest in online communities and social media is preferred
- Must have excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Familiarity with various social media platforms and their community guidelines
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proven ability to handle sensitive or controversial topics with tact and professionalism
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings if needed
