Industrial Alpinist in Funchal, Portugal

We are in need of an experienced Industrial Alpinist to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As an Industrial Alpinist, you will be responsible for performing rope access techniques to carry out various tasks at heights and in confined spaces. This role requires a high level of physical fitness, technical skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough safety checks and risk assessments before starting any job
- Utilizing rope access techniques to reach difficult and elevated areas for maintenance or construction tasks
- Installing safety equipment and rigging as needed
- Performing repairs, maintenance, or installation of equipment at heights or in confined spaces
- Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and accurately within set deadlines
- Maintaining accurate records of work completed and reporting any issues or concerns to supervisors

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Industrial Alpinist or similar role
- Valid certification in industrial rope access techniques (IRATA, SPRAT)
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy equipment and climb for extended periods of time
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols while working at heights
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Experience with hand tools and power tools
- Visa sponsorship available for non-EU nationals

Salary:
The salary for this position is $900 per month.
