Glazier Technician

We are in need of a skilled Glazier Technician to join our team in Funchal. As a Glazier Technician, you will be responsible for installing and repairing glass in various structures, including windows, doors, and storefronts. Your duties will also include cutting and shaping glass to fit specific measurements, as well as handling tools and equipment safely. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut glass according to specifications
- Install glass in windows, doors, and other structures
- Repair or replace damaged or broken glass
- Use tools such as cutters, grinders, pliers and suction cups
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Glazier or similar role
- Excellent math skills for precise measurements
- Knowledge of different types of glass and their uses
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings
- Physical strength to lift heavy pieces of glass
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
