Architectural Technologist
We are hiring an experienced Architectural Technologist to join our team in Funchal. As an Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting in the design and construction of buildings, ensuring that they meet safety and legal standards while also meeting the client's aesthetic and functional requirements. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and other professionals to create detailed drawings and plans for various projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design of building structures and systems
- Create detailed drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Work closely with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure designs meet safety and legal standards
- Conduct site visits and collaborate with construction teams to ensure project plans are being followed accurately
- Research building materials, codes, and regulations to ensure compliance with local laws
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and incorporate them into design plans
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Architectural Technologist
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction methods
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1000 per month for this position.
Location:
This position is based in Funchal but we welcome applicants from all nationalities who are legally eligible to work in Portugal.
