Junior Commercial Architect

As a Junior Commercial Architect, you will be responsible for assisting in the design and development of commercial buildings and structures in Funchal. This part-time position offers a salary of 1600$ and includes accommodation. We welcome candidates without experience and provide training and support to help you grow in this role.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior architects to create preliminary designs for commercial projects
- Conduct site visits and surveys to gather information on potential building sites
- Create detailed drawings and blueprints using AutoCAD or other design software
- Research local building codes and regulations to ensure compliance in all designs
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to discuss project requirements and progress
- Assist in creating cost estimates and timelines for projects

Requirements:
- Biometric passport for international travel (preferably from EU)
- Degree in Architecture or related field (or currently studying)
- Proficient in AutoCAD or other design software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work within tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
