Architectural Design Manager

The Architectural Design Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the design process of various architectural projects in Funchal. This individual will lead a team of designers and collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to design specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the entire design process from concept development to final construction drawings
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and vision for the project
- Work with contractors and other team members to ensure that designs are feasible and meet all necessary requirements
- Develop and manage project timelines and budgets
- Supervise a team of designers, providing guidance, feedback, and support as needed
- Conduct site visits to ensure that construction is progressing according to the design plans
- Review and approve all design documents before submission to clients or authorities
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, codes, standards, and regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in architectural design
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders effectively
- Knowledge of relevant software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.
- Familiarity with building codes and regulations in Funchal (or willingness to learn)
- Attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

This is a full-time position offering a salary of 1700$. While prior experience is preferred, we also welcome applications from talented individuals without experience who are eager to learn.
