Senior Architect


We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect to join our team in Funchal. As a Senior Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and construction process of various architectural projects. Your main duties will include developing project plans, creating architectural designs, and managing project budgets and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop project plans and schedules in collaboration with clients and stakeholders
- Create architectural designs that meet client requirements and adhere to building codes and regulations
- Oversee the construction process to ensure quality control and compliance with designs
- Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking expenses, and identifying potential cost-saving measures
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure smooth execution of projects
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects on the team

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- 5+ years of experience as an architect, preferably in a senior role
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or other architectural design software
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations in Portugal (or willingness to learn)
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members
