Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Funchal. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various types of machinery used in our production process. This includes but is not limited to operating lathe machines, drill presses, and milling machines. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Machine Operator and be able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Attention to detail and the ability to follow safety protocols are crucial in this role.

Responsibilities:
- Set up machines according to production specifications
- Operate machinery during production runs
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished products for quality control purposes
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on machines when needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Basic understanding of machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects

Salary: 1200$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Funchal, Portugal (own visa required)
