Restaurant Manager - Funchal, Madeira
We are in search of a skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team in Funchal, Madeira. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our restaurant operations, including managing staff, ensuring high-quality service, and maintaining a positive dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all daily operations of the restaurant
- Train and supervise staff to provide excellent customer service
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high standards of food quality and service
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Create schedules for staff to ensure proper coverage during peak hours
- Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues in a timely manner
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations between front-of-house and back-of-house
- Conduct regular meetings with staff to review performance, address concerns, and provide feedback
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations including food safety regulations, inventory management, and cost control measures
- Exceptional communication skills with fluency in English (Portuguese proficiency is a plus)
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of 900$ per month along with accommodation.
