Library Assistant in Funchal, Portugal


We are hiring a Library Assistant for our library in Funchal, Portugal. This full-time position offers a salary of 1000$ per month and includes accommodation. We welcome candidates without experience who have a biometric passport and are passionate about books and knowledge.

As a Library Assistant, you will play an important role in the daily operations of our library. Your main responsibilities will include assisting patrons with finding materials, organizing and shelving books, and maintaining the general order and cleanliness of the library. You will also be responsible for checking out materials to patrons, registering new members, and collecting fines for overdue items.

To excel in this role, you should have excellent communication skills and be comfortable interacting with people from diverse backgrounds. You should also have a strong attention to detail and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Previous experience working in a library is not required but is considered an asset.
