Entry-Level Barista in Funchal, Portugal

As an entry-level barista, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and preparing high-quality coffee beverages at our cafe in Funchal, Portugal. While previous experience is not required, we are looking for candidates who have a passion for coffee and a willingness to learn. This is a full-time position with a starting salary of $1100 per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and take their orders in a friendly and efficient manner
- Prepare espresso drinks, pour-over coffees, and other beverages according to our standards
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and surrounding areas
- Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain cash register throughout shift
- Educate customers about our products and make recommendations based on their preferences
- Follow all health and safety guidelines when handling food and drinks

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- A positive attitude and strong customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn about different types of coffee beans, brewing methods, etc.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evening shifts
