We are seeking a highly organized and efficient individual to join our construction management team in Funchal, Portugal. As a part-time Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop project plans and timelines
- Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment necessary for construction projects
- Monitor project progress and ensure that all work is being carried out according to plans and specifications
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Prepare progress reports for upper management, highlighting any issues or delays that may arise during the construction process
- Manage project budgets and track expenses to ensure projects stay within allocated funds
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns or issues that may arise

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (preferred)
- Relevant experience in construction management or a related role
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (proficiency in Portuguese is a plus)
- Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project or Primavera P6 (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and take initiative when needed
