Contract Surveyor in Funchal

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Contract Surveyor to join our team in the beautiful city of Funchal. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting surveys and inspections on various construction projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys and inspections on construction sites to ensure compliance with design plans, specifications, and safety standards
- Prepare accurate reports detailing findings and recommendations
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to resolve any issues or discrepancies
- Review project plans and specifications to identify potential problems or conflicts
- Analyze data from surveys and create detailed drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Monitor progress of construction projects to ensure they adhere to schedules and budget constraints
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other parties involved in the project

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience as a Surveyor in the construction industry
- Excellent knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, and equipment
- Proficient in using CAD software for creating drawings
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
