Contract Gardener in Funchal, Portugal

The city of Funchal, located in the beautiful country of Portugal, is seeking a skilled and experienced Gardener to join our team on a contract basis. As a Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining and caring for the gardens and outdoor spaces in our city. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for gardening and a love for the outdoors.

Responsibilities:
- Designing and planning garden layouts
- Planting, watering, and caring for various plants and flowers
- Pruning trees and shrubs
- Maintaining lawns and other outdoor areas
- Using equipment such as lawnmowers and trimmers
- Identifying and treating plant diseases or pests
- Keeping garden areas clean and tidy

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Gardener or in a similar role
- Knowledge of different types of plants, flowers, trees, and shrubs
- Familiarity with gardening techniques such as pruning, fertilizing, etc.
- Ability to use gardening equipment safely
- Good physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail and an eye for design
- Excellent time management skills

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1200 per month.

Accommodation:
Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract.

Location:
This position is based in Funchal, Portugal.

Contract Duration:
This is a contract position with an initial duration of 6 months.
