Caregiver for Elderly in Funchal, Portugal


We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Caregiver to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing quality care and support to elderly individuals in their homes. This is a full-time position that requires a high level of patience, empathy, and physical stamina.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and medication reminders
- Help with light housekeeping duties and meal preparation
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with the elderly individual
- Monitor and report any changes in the individual's condition or behavior
- Accompany the individual to appointments or outings as needed
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for the individual at all times

Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a caregiver or in a similar role
- Must have own valid visa and be legally able to work in Portugal
- Ability to work full-time hours including weekends and holidays if needed
- Must be physically able to assist with lifting and transferring individuals if necessary
- Good communication skills and ability to build rapport with elderly individuals
- Fluent in Portuguese (both written and spoken)

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month for this position.
