Handyman

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our team in Funchal. As a Handyman, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks on our properties. This is a contract job with a salary of 1300$. Experience in general handyman work is required, and the ideal candidate will also have basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, fixing leaks, repairing fixtures, etc.
- Complete repair requests in a timely manner
- Conduct inspections to identify maintenance needs
- Install and maintain appliances, equipment, and furniture
- Collaborate with other team members to coordinate repairs or projects
- Keep track of inventory and purchase necessary supplies
- Ensure all work is completed to high quality standards
- Adhere to safety protocols when using tools or working at heights
- Communicate with tenants or clients regarding any maintenance issues

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Handyman or similar role
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work
- Proficient in using various tools and equipment
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize based on urgency
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in workmanship
- Good communication skills in order to interact with team members and clients
- Physical stamina for lifting heavy objects or working at heights if necessary

Preferred:
- Biometric passport (not mandatory but preferred)
- Experience working without accommodation (not mandatory but preferred)
