Office Manager (Contract) - Funchal, Portugal
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Office Manager to join our team on a contract basis in Funchal, Portugal. As an Office Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our office, ensuring its smooth and efficient functioning. Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, including managing schedules, handling correspondence, and coordinating meetings
- Maintain office efficiency by organizing systems, procedures, and policies
- Manage administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping
- Ensure that all office equipment is maintained and in working order
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies when needed
- Manage office budgets and expenses
- Assist with event planning and coordination as needed
- Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth communication and collaboration
- Handle general inquiries from clients or visitors to the office
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or similar role
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles is a plus
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English (knowledge of Portuguese is a plus)
- Valid work permit for Portugal (visa sponsorship available if needed)
Salary:
This is a contract position offering a salary of 1600$ per month.
