We are seeking an experienced and motivated Hotel Sales Manager to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As a Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to increase revenue and occupancy levels for our hotel. This is a contract job with accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue and occupancy levels for the hotel
- Identify new business opportunities and maintain relationships with existing clients
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competition, and potential target markets
- Create attractive packages and promotions to attract new business
- Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, operations, and reservations to ensure a cohesive approach to sales efforts
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the hotel
- Manage the sales team, providing leadership, training, and support as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business or hospitality management preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel sales or related field
- Strong knowledge of the Funchal market and potential target markets
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team towards success
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with CRM software

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1400 per month.

Location:
This position is based in Funchal, Portugal.

Accommodation:
Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract.
