Web Developer


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Web Developer to join our team in Braga, Portugal. As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites according to client specifications. You will work closely with our creative team to create visually appealing and user-friendly websites that meet our clients' needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of front-end web development and be proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages. Prior experience in a similar role is required. This is a part-time position with the potential for full-time employment.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with designers to create visually appealing website designs
- Write well-designed, efficient code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages
- Troubleshoot and debug website issues
- Optimize website performance for maximum speed and scalability
- Ensure cross-platform compatibility for all websites
- Keep up-to-date on emerging web technologies and industry trends
- Communicate project progress to team members and clients

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Web Developer or in a similar role
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages
- Experience working with content management systems (CMS)
- Knowledge of SEO principles
- Strong understanding of user experience (UX) design principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with responsive design techniques
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or other design software
- Experience working with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify or WooCommerce

Salary: 900$

Location: Braga, Portugal (accommodation can be provided if needed)

Working Hours: This is a part-time position with flexible working hours. Full-time employment may be offered based on performance and availability.
