Our research team in Braga is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Computer Research Scientist to join our dynamic and innovative company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting cutting-edge research and developing new technologies in the field of computer science.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on advanced computer science topics, such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data mining
- Design and develop algorithms, models, and systems to solve complex problems
- Analyze large datasets and develop methods for data processing and analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify research needs and potential areas of application
- Publish research findings in reputable journals and present at conferences
- Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in computer science through literature review and attending conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and provide technical guidance on projects

Requirements:
- Master's or PhD degree in computer science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in conducting research in a relevant field
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++
- Experience with data analysis tools such as R or MATLAB
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques and algorithms
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) techniques
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary package of 900$ per month for this position.

Location:
This position is located in Braga, Portugal. Relocation assistance is not provided. Applicants must have their own visa to work in Portugal.
