Part-Time Junior Network and Systems Administrator
A rapidly growing IT company in Braga is seeking a part-time Junior Network and Systems Administrator to join our team. As a Junior Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring our network infrastructure, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing support to end-users. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the field of network and systems administration.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade network equipment including switches, routers, firewalls, and servers
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as backups, updates, and patches
- Provide technical support to end-users on hardware, software, and network issues
- Maintain documentation of network configurations and procedures
- Collaborate with other team members to improve network operations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs
- Experience with Windows Server operating systems (2008/2012/2016)
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Salary:
This is a part-time position with an hourly rate of $1600 per month.

Location:
This role is based in Braga but may require occasional travel to client sites within the city.
