Back-End Developer



We are hiring a talented Back-End Developer to join our dynamic team in Braga! As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex web applications and databases. Your primary focus will be ensuring high performance and responsiveness of our web applications, while collaborating with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of server-side languages such as Java, Python or PHP, as well as experience working with databases like MySQL or MongoDB. Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing efficient and scalable server-side code
- Integrating user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Writing reusable code and libraries for future use
- Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Collaborating with front-end developers to implement user-friendly interfaces
- Troubleshooting issues and debugging code to improve performance
- Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in back-end development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Proficiency in at least one server-side language such as Java, Python or PHP
- Experience working with databases like MySQL or MongoDB
- Strong understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
